Re: Davrian Mk3 1968

Hi all, Many more hours of air sawing and die grinding and i now have the drivers side almost finished, all the foam from the sill is now removed along with most of the plywood. Pretty much all the extra bonding is now gone and ive been over most of the rear of the tub with the die grinder thinning ...

Re: Davrian Mk3 1968

Hi all, I only had about an hour today but that was enough for me to make the last of the mods to the rear corner of the tub. The mod i have made is for the mounting face for the bracket that will hold the rear coilover. I heldup the bracket for the front coilover to give you a rough idea, the brack...

Re: Davrian Mk3 1968

Hi all, I had anothercouple of hours today to get a bit more done on the rear of the tub. The design is all pretty much done now, i just need to grind out all the joins on the wheel side and bond all the joins together. I have also cut out the damaged part from where the rear cross member bolts on, ...

Re: Davrian Mk3 1968

Hi all, Sorry if this update is a bit of a photo dump. First are some pictures of my engine build so far. It started with me stripping down the 875cc Imp engine, and i cleaned up the pieces i needed for the build and boxed up the rest for sale. Then once my ZX7R engine was delivered i did the same t...

Where are you heading with her on monday?

You mention the weight, have you had her on the scales?

By the way Tom it was me who bought your old front off you about a year ago, we didnt meet though, i picked it up from Tim's.

Cheers

Re: Imp 998 16 valve WITH PHOTO!

This looks alot like the engine i have just started to build, a standard 875cc imp block modified with peugeot 205 1.0l liners and a Kawasaki ZX7R head and pistons fitted. I have been following a thread on the imp forum which is the only place i have seen it done but no one on there has finished the...
