Cant beleve it had the car on corner weights last sunday,with full tanks and big battery it came in at 805 kilos (WHAT) Having tank made to fit where the spare wheel would go,so save about 25 - 30 kilos lots of work taking the old tanks out but thats what i have to do,get the 14 kilo battery gone fi...

Not sure if you lot would like to come up to Abingdon,there is a sprint to watch on the saturday then a stage rally sunday,so far a T90 GTR and my vtec Davrian are in the event,along with 98 other cars !!
Its the 9th and 10th of June.

Hi Robin,i have found a few problems,the rack ends were odd,so more lock one way than the other,rack had no grease in it and to much preload so tight to turn. The car was about 10 seconds of the wiining pace on a 10 miles stage first time out !! Have fitted new 2 way AVO`s this weekend,new drive sha...

Never ends, New alloy AVO`s being made this week,new en19t drive shafts being a pain,DRD racing have them in hand. New engine mount design on the cards,need to srot this bumpsteer and caster,quite a few helful idears coming in about that. New rear discs,we should then be ready for stage rally no 2. ...

steering rack

Hi all i have quite a lot of play in my rack,ok for mot and road use but im not to sure i like it at 125mph on stage.
Does any one no where i may get one,not a quick rack,thats a bit to quick in my car,just a standard rack.
It never ends now the cars working.

Not sure i no what you mean,i had planned to pack under the front mounting points for the whish bones,a 20m alloy plate fixed to the car then just bolt the front arm plate to it,it would tip the front bushs down,it would also move the angle of the king pin.

caster !!! to much

Hi all has any one got an idear on how to lose some of the mad amount af caster these things have,would lowering the front part of the front arms help,just a 20mm spacer maybe.
In hairpin type corners its far to hard to turn in quickly.
Any help or idears would be great.

1st event now over, 2 days and 90 miles,lost brakes,lose hub nut,and snapped an engine mount,also bad drive shaft both days but 1st in class and 8th o/a car will be great.

First off sorry about the short notice,this has come about quite quickly. Team Dav-Tec,would like to invite all MSA licence holders to a full days testing,fun and good old chat about all our cars on Saturday the 25th of February (:oops:) You can do as many laps as you want,cost will be £120 per car....
