Re: Mk 6 windscreen and suspension

Hmm...£80 rather than £300+ does it for me.

Mind you they don't offer a heated one, do they?

Glad I saw the link, just ordered the chrome trim for the front screen on the Mk 4, it never got fitted!

I will be working on the dav at the weekend so I will take some pics for you. Dave Nice one Dave, I look forward to that. One pic is often worth a thousand words. If...

Re: Jack Knight 5 speed gearbox FOR SALE (again)

Without any explanation the person who contacted me asking to buy this box has 'gone quiet'. Last week he told me he'd transfer the money over the weekend or Monday 15th at the latest, but he failed to do so and hasn't anwered two mails yesterday so I am pulling the plug on the deal. I've discussed ...

Does anyone know the volume of a Davrian interior, in fact? Useful info for those of us in search of the ultimate heater....

Re: Heaters

That'll do nicely! You're right, Cheeser, 5 kw is like having 5 single bar electric fires going in the tiny space of the Davrian cabin, which can't be much more than 2m3. 2.2kw sounds far more sensible. Talking heaters, I just found some humungous thing lurking in the passenger footwell of the Mk 7,...

Re: Mk 7 rebuild begins

I'm currently discussing with Tim Duffee how I'm supposed to fit any FIA approved roll bar arrangement on this car. It has a Ferrari Dino type rear window which seems to block fitting a normal rollbar with diagonal to the rear brace leg at its lower point. Were there two types of rear window treatme...
