Brands Hatch Rally

Not sure if my mind, eyes or just me age is playing tricks on me but I'm sure I saw the results of a rally at Brands Hatch held this month and the winning car was a mk8 Davrian! Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Yes i did win Brands Hatch,many 2.5 300bhp escorts 4wd cars and a 2.0 Darrian T90.
Its taken me 2 years to build the car from a road car,and my frist rally in the car was last March,1 year later and we won with a 1.6 Vtec engine and H pattern box,no 6 speed steering wheel change for me !!
May go 2.0 Lt next year as at 210 bhp its hard to win over all,with a 2.0 Lt Vtec we can get about 250 whp.

I took my Davrian to a small local classic car gathering this morning where it got a lot of attention. One guy taking pics was raving over it saying he'd seen a multi coloured Davrian demolish the opposition at Brands a few weeks ago!. He'd never heard of them, was amazed to see another today and now wanted one. You made quite an impression on him Dean!!.

It is worth it so far,if we can get the engine to be good,as all Honda engines should be i will be over the moon,it really does handle very well.
Everything i have tried on the car seams to be diffrent than any before !!
400lb springs
Making the car 3" longer,and 2" wider
The big AP front calipers and 265mm discs
The KAD 4 pot rears,i only last week worked out the best rear disc for me (still needs work) they are from a Audi A6 Advant,lucky i have one of those
We run short coil overs so the wheels dont drop into camber to much,meaning no need for anti roll bars.
The list is so long.
Anyway Goodwood stages satuday the 9th,lots of 2.5 Escorts and WRC cars so we will see how that goes.

Goodwood not as good to me as Brands but happy to say 6th o/a and a class win more important the engine ran very well,so we can start to sort the car

AVO have been great to me again and are building me some new 3 way remote coil overs so we can fine tune the car,so we can go fast upto round and out of the corners,dont get me wrong the AVO`s that are on the car are less than a year old but only 2 way !!!
Bovington stages in March,that will be 1 year since the car came out to play for the very first time,how quickly a year has gone by.
