Davrian Wanted

Post by wrxmark »

Hi, as per the title I am looking for a Davrian.
Ideally I would like a car that is road registered and useable or could be with a bit of work, but will consider anything that’s available.
Many thanks
Mark.

There was a Mk8 for sale in Lymington earlier this year, don't know if that's still about

It's in the ad's list under "Mk8 for sale"

If you are in the market for spending that kind of money you might want to think about going over to the 'Dark Side' and look at the Darrian T90 rolling shell that is available on Tim Duffee's (Cars for Sale) page. You could probably fit a Subie engine and box in it and still have change in your pocket compared to the car quoted above..... ;)

Jokes aside, the red Davrian does have lovely looking paint and interior, shame the owner hasn't fitted the BMW engine that he says he also has available

Thanks, I've noticed the red one has been up for sale for some time, looks like it has had a lot of time and money spent on it.

I would be quite happy with a car needing some work as long as it could be usable fairly easily and treat it as a running restoration.
I don't really want a basket case as I already have a Ginetta G15 that I am starting to restore, but that does mean I have an engine and box if a rolling chassis was available! I realise with so few cars around I can't be to fussy so will consider anything.

Also it's difficult to know what is a fair price to pay when there are hardly any for sale?

Hi, I have been in touch with a chap in Leeds, has a davrian for sale, needs some restoration, including wiring but has new minilite wheels and tyres, 998 engine with single 40 webber and japanese exhaust. He's looking for £6500.

Hope this helps.

Not what you could call a rolling project, but its an early car, a tad pricey though:

Thanks,
I saw this one for sale last year, but it was sold when I contacted the owner.
