The dash looks great. Is the structural frame original plywood or the GRP one from Tim Duffee?

Another question after eyeballing the pictures more closely.
What are the brakes you have at the back as I can see mechanical hand brake? Are you using solid or vented disks?
I am looking for rear brakes with mechanical handbrake, that would take vented disks and still would fit inside 13" wheel. Yeah, I know that this is overkill to such a light car, but ...
Am I looking for something that is simply not available?

They look the same as mine - Sierra, but I'm sure Dave will correct me if I'm wrong...

Hi Intrepid, I used Granada rear calipers Ithink they are the same
I think you might be over doing it with vents on the back,It is very
easy to lock the rears up with the set up I have. With a dual system
I have to have 60/70% to the front and it stops on a sixpence[ if you
what that is] from a 100 plus mph. Good luck with your car,

Hi Davrianites, Hope all is well and all problems are small ones!
FCD 284X has a NEW NUMBER DAV 373H so its not another new find.
Car is under winter mods, driveshaft, door panels, electric windows
and possibly new revolution wheels. This davrian is turning in to an
old mans GT ( comfort mainly). Goodwood in March sounds a good
meeting point for the start of 2012 and back to my place for a
cupper.
All the best

Just returned from a day with the Davrian at the rolling road. After a bit of tuning we did a power run and it produce a healthy 75BHP at the wheels, approx. 100BHP at the flywheel! It sounded amazing at 7000rpm!!! Here is a video of the calibration stage, only up to 4000rpm.

Very nice mate. I wonder if Adrian had these on his options list back in the 60's? lol. If not yours must be the only Ghia model out there! What's next Dave?
