Davrian MK5

Post by tom.goldsmith »

9 years ago I found this Davrian abandoned at my local college, I brought it for 350 pounds and after many many many hours and a small fortune later I have finally built the car a always wanted.

last picture was taken the day I brought the car
what do you all think of the transformation ???

Thanks Guys

Yes she is road legal and Ive been out for a spin today, 40 miles done and no dramas yet. found it Hard to keep my foot off the pedal tho and keep the revs low but i wanted to give the engine a chance to bed in before it goes full bore on the track monday.

When and where is the meet Dave?

Its got a 998 imp engine with jack knight box. pushing 105 bhp which feels pretty good given the weight.

Where are you heading with her on monday?

You mention the weight, have you had her on the scales?

By the way Tom it was me who bought your old front off you about a year ago, we didnt meet though, i picked it up from Tim's.

Cheers

OK Tom. Stuff this end is almost sorted, if you know what I mean. With that said I'll probably be begging you for some more help. Got stuff already planned for tomorrow so won't be able to come and see you, but will deffinatly be coming to see your car soon. Take it easy tomorrow......... if you can!!

Plasticfantastic

Sorry I was at lydden yesterday

haven't had it on the scales yet but I have opted for making everything as light as possible.

I did see this pictures of my old front end sitting on your car and looking forward to seeing the end result once you have it all together.

hers some pics of her in action
