Mutley mayhem sprint Sunday Oct 3rd
I'm competing this Sunday at the Mutley mayhem sprint on Clay Pigeon Raceway between Yeovil and Dorchester if anyone fancies a day out.

I have managed to post a video clip of me at this event on you tube...
No idea how to put a link to it on here, but if you type in something like " mutley mayhem davrian " it ought to come up.
This is an imp powered mk 6 . It's a roadgoing car, 998cc running an R20 cam and standard wide ratio gearbox. ... hence the need to rev the nuts off the poor thing..
Maybe someone clever or a teenager may be able to post a link to it for others to see...

Thanks for doing that.... A bit too technical for me I'm afraid. .
Really enjoyed the day. ..though it was very busy in the cockpit with a lot of wheel twiddling going on!
Hoping to do a few more events next season ( only did two this time) including Epynt and Shelsley Walsh and Llandow. Also thinking maybe Castle Coombe or Pembrey... We shall see..

Well done mate. Nice drift in there too. And the "nut revving" sounds awesome!!
Re: Mutley mayhem sprint Sunday Oct 3rd
Glad you're still doing a few sprints, the car's looking pretty impressive leaving a nice black tyre mark on that you tube clip!
If you've not done Pembrey yet, you will not be disappointed, it is absolutely brilliant. If it wasn't so bl dy far away, I might have kept my sprint licence going just for that and that alone. Gorgeous 3rd and 4th gear fast flowing flat out bends, a circuit where you just get quicker and quicker.(Well, I got quicker, as I started slow and built up, but I seem to remember you just go flat out anywhere right from first blind practice ).
Hope the family is ok, all the best, Graham
