Hi Hal Sorry for late reply- I've been a bit busy! That engine is supposed to be under 1 hour running as a team spare engine- It's all sealed with BMW/Schnitzer seals so nobody's been fiddling with it, although- like you say.... it's rated by BMW at 140bhp and 85lb/ft. It has slightly bigger injectors and throttle bodies fitted so it's a little more power than a stock K1200RS. Easy and relatively cheap (£295) to up- cam it to 170-180bhp

engine and box being mated together as I type this, hope to make a bit of progress over the next few weeks. The engine cost me only a little more than a new combined race inlet/exhaust manifold for an Imp. limiting factor is gong to be the Imp Transaxle, but thick walled casings are available and strengthening mods too if (when) it goes bang
