Thanks for your replies chaps. It's such a shame more couldn't make the meet. Well if you intend being there at breakfast time please let me know and I'll make sure the pans are warmed up ready for a fry-up!

Hi All
Very sorry for the short notice and to anyone going that doesnt read this in time, Unfortunately Gary cannot make the meet due to personal problems that cannot be avoided.
due to the lack of interest Im not sure if anyone else is still going but It looks to be pooring down with rain this weekend thanks Britain ;) for this reason i wont be able to get my car over there either. Its probably to late to cancel but it looks as though it may be a wash out.

If anybody is still planning on going then let me know as i may drive up to say hi

Had a great day at brands, weather held of till late afternoon. John rawlins
ran his DAVRIAN and got a class win.Well done it looked very slippery out there.
Please could you return the ton of gravel you took from paddock bend !
Come on you Davrian owners get your asses in gear and make the effort to
get this wonderful sports car seen on a regular basis or better still
all together at some point in the year. The value of the car will go up and you can
injoy driving it to. Now thats of my chest get out and fix that DAVRIAN over the
winter and we will get to gether in the spring.
Dave.

Ah yes, that old chestnut ;)
Good luck with that, Dave. I've been trying since 1996 to promote the sprint/hillclimb scene for the Imp powered class, but I've finally given up. After a good stint of entries for a period in late 90's early naughties, some of those that did join in have gone on to serious circuit racing.
My mk 6 has not turned a wheel, I'm afraid, since my last sprint last October as I wanted a year off to concentrate on the Stiletto (another sore point in Imp circles, as it's been off the road since 2004!).
Funny thing is, I've not missed it at all, and I've saved a fortune, so I think I'll put a standard box back in the Davrian so that I can enjoy it on the road again.
This is not a rant against those Davrians that are being used, I do appreciate I've just missed some of you because of the logistics of some events.

I have a nice standard gearbox for you Graham.... could swap for your close ratio one.....
Seriously, If you want to sell it, I would be interested.
Just two of us in the HSA imp class this year... a bit of a shame, really.
