Just wanted to put a shout out
The HSCC are running a new Historic Modsports series this year, the next outing is at the Croft Historic Race weekend and Show 2-3 September. Which should be a great weekend out.
Myles is out in his Mk8 and the Irish Renault engined one that was recently sold is apparently out too.
If my gearbox is repaired in time I am hoping to join them.
This is really a rallying call for all those old race Davrians that have sat in garages waiting for this moment . Come and join the fun!
Neville my old MK7 would be a lovely addition to the series.
There was an orange 1700 X-flow Mk 8 very similar to mine that sold in the recent past and that would be perfect too.
There must be loads more under a sheet somewhere just waiting ….
Let’s try and get as many potential cars listed on here and see if we can encourage their owners to join in and end up with a real Davrian prescence on the grid by next year
