Thanks Dick
I'm just over 6'...I have sat in it and there was only just enough headroom.
I was thinking to cover some suitable slabs of foam and hold them in place with velcro, that way thicker cushions could be added to enable my wife to drive.

Planning to prep it for moving on Friday afternoon and then shift it Saturday. Time limited due to tennis in morning and getting the trailer back Saturday PM. ....so thanks for the offer for a nosey at yours..however no time this weekend.

Other option on the pedals is what Tim Duffee did for me on a Mk6, as I'm just over 6' as well.

He altered the shape of the pedals and I think repositioned where the pedal box mounts by a small amount about and I gained about 5" extra leg room which with a slight re-position of the steering column means that I can fit in the car OK and my legs don't foul the steering wheel when the clutch is operated.

I'll see if I can find some photo's of the pedal box he modified.
